Miss Universe New Zealand 2024 is Victoria Velasquez Vincent


Victoria Velasquez Vincent was crowned Miss Universe New Zealand 2024 in a national final on Sunday, September 29 at the Dorothy Winstone Centre in Auckland.

The 29-year-old Filipina-Kiwi beauty will represent New Zealand at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico City this November.

Gazelle Garcia and Inge Carolus were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Universe New Zealand previously competed in Miss Universe Philippines twice. She placed in the Top 5 in 2021 and Top 10 in 2024.

New Zealand's last participation at Miss Universe was in 2019 with Diamond Langi.

Miss Fairfield USA Jenna Hofmann was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2025 on Sunday, January 26 at the Marriott Hartford Windsor Airport in Windsor, Connecticut. The 23-year-old real estate professional, originally from New York, will now prepare to represent Connecticut at the Miss USA 2025 pageant. She succeeds last year's winner Shavana Clarke. The highly anticipated official presentation of the 24 contestants vying for Miss Venezuela 2022 took place on Saturday, November 10 in Caracas. Makaʻala Perry to represent Hawaii at Miss International 2023

Makaʻala Perry is the newly appointed Miss International Hawaii 2023 and will represent the Aloha State at Miss International 2023 in Japan this October. The 24-year-old flight attendant, business owner, and musician was announced as Priscilla Wang's successor for the national title last month. Besides working for Hawaiian Airlines and running her own business called Sunbeams Creamery, a dessert shop located in Wahiawa, she is also pursuing her bachelor of arts degree in music at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
