Vietnam's Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy crowned Miss International 2024
Vietnam's Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy was crowned Miss International 2024 on Tuesday, November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Japan.
The 22-year-old beauty from Da Nang became the first ever Vietnamese woman to become Miss International. She succeeds last year's winner Andrea Rubio from Venezuela.
Camila Roca of Bolivia was named first runner-up while Alba Pérez of Spain, Sakra Guerrero of Venezuela, and Sophie Kirana of Indonesia finished as the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
Alina Dementjeva of the Czech Republic, Samantha Poole of New Zealand, and Ewa Jakubiec of Poland completed the Top 8 finalists.
The Top 20 were from Australia, Selina McCloskey, Cape Verde, Akysanna Veiga, Cuba, Shelbi Byrnes Garcia, Dominican Republic, Miyuki Cruz, Honduras, April Tobie, Ireland, Hannah-Kathleen Hawkshaw, Japan, Mei Ueda, Mongolia, Bayaraa Suvd-erdene, Nigeria, Perpetual Ukadike, South Africa, Belindé Schreuder, South Sudan, Amylia Deng, and Taiwan, Oceana Lin-Kurie.
Cape Verde, Cuba, Japan, and Ireland were awarded the continental titles while Honduras, Mexico, Peru, and New Zealand bagged the Miss Fitness, Miss Photogenic, Best in Evening Gown, and Best in National Costume, respectively.
This year's competition marked the 62nd edition of the annual Miss International pageant. A total of 71 international beauties competed for the coveted crown.
