Antioquia's Catalina Duque Abréu crowned Señorita Colombia 2024


Catalina Duque Abréu was crowned Señorita Colombia 2024 (Miss Colombia 2024) on November 10 at the Cartagena Convention Center.

The 25-year-old beauty representing Antioquia bested over 30 other contestants to win the national title. She became the seventh winner from Antioquia and the first in 28 years after Claudia Elena Vásquez in 1996.

Nicolle Ospina of Atlántico placed second and was named Virreina while Juliana Osorio of Region Caribe, Valentina Tafur of Valle, and Olga Álvarez of Riohacha were the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively.

Sharon Gamarra of Barranquilla, Yaniris Castellar of Cartagena, Ángela Capella of Chocó, Liz Zamara Yanquen of Norte de Santander, and María José Chacon of Tolima were the rest of the Top 10.

The new Señorita Colombia succeeds Sofía Osío Luna and is now expected to represent Colombia at Miss International 2025 in Japan.

Miss Botswana 2025 is Ruth Thomas from Masunga

Ruth Thomas was crowned Miss Botswana 2025 (Miss World Bostwana) on Saturday, March 22 at The Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort in Gaborone. The 24-year-old clothing and textile design graduate from the village of Masunga bested nine other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Anicia Gaothusi from Tutume and is expected to represent Botswana at the 73rd Miss World competition. Katerina Delvina, 28, bested nine other finalists to be crowned Miss World Singapore 2025 in a recently held national competition in Singapore. The biomedical research student, model, and passionate advocate for charity work will represent Singapore in the upcoming Miss World 2025 competition in Hyderabad, India. Four new queens have been crowned at the culmination of the Bellezas Globales de Nicaragua 2025 pageant held on Sunday, March 23 at the Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío in Managua. Karen Jansen to represent Belgium at the 72nd Miss World

Reigning Miss Belgium Karen Jansen, 23, has been officially announced as Belgium's representative in the upcoming Miss World 2025 competition. The psychology student and freelance model from the province of Limburg was recently crowned Miss Belgium 2025 last month in De Panne. Karen will compete with over 100 contestants from around the world to become the next Miss World this May in Hyderabad, India. Belgium has yet to win the Miss World crown since its first participation in 1969. The country's highest placement was in 1996 when Belgian model Laurence Borremans made the Top 10.
