Miss Universe 2024: New crown by Jewelmer officially revealed


A new Miss Universe crown made by Filipino jewelry brand Jewelmer was officially unveiled on Thursday, November 14 in Mexico City.

Handcrafted by Filipino master craftsmen, the new crown features the rare golden South Sea pearl, the national gem of the Philippines.

The "Lumière de l’Infini" (Light of Inifinity) crown is proudly the first-ever Filipino-crafted crown for the Miss Universe pageant.

Contestants from 127 countries and territories are currently vying to become the 73rd Miss Universe.

The much-awaited Miss Universe 2024 grand final show and coronation will be held on November 16 at Arena CDMX in Mexico City.

Here's where to watch Miss Universe 2024 preliminary competition

The Miss Universe 2024 preliminary competition and national costume show will take place tonight at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City. Contestants from 127 countries and territories will each present themselves in their swimsuits, evening gowns, and national costumes. Tonight's show, to be hosted by reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios and former Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel, will start at 8 p.m. local time. The crucial event will help the  selection committee determine who will advance to the Top 30 to be announced during this Sunday's final show. After weeks of pre-pageant activities and events, the 24th edition of the annual Miss Earth pageant will culminate tonight at Okada Manila in the Philippines. Drita Ziri from Albania and her elemental court are set to crown their successors among 76 contestants from around the planet at tonight's final competition. The show will be hosted by Filipino actor and host Robi Domingo and will stream live on local channels and Miss Earth's official social media and streaming platforms. Jessica Lane from Australia was crowned Miss Earth 2024 in a grand coronation show on Saturday, November 9 at Okada Manila in the Philippines. The 21-year-old activist and journalist beat over 70 other contestants to win the international pageant. She made history as the first Australian woman to become Miss Earth. Hrafnhildur Haraldsdóttir of Iceland, Bea Millan-Windorski of the USA, and Niva Antezana of Peru were crowned Miss Earth Air, Miss Earth Water, and Miss Earth Fire 2024, respectively.
