Mister South Africa 2024 is Marcel Roux


Marcel Roux was proclaimed Mister South Africa 2024 in a national competition held on November 9 at Vodacom World Events in Midrand.

The 26-year-old educator and sports organizer from Cape Town bested nine other finalists to win the title. He succeeds last year's winner Tiaan Massyn.

Luca Pontiggia and Dylan Majavie were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

"Honoured, humbled, and beyond grateful to be crowned Mr. South Africa. This journey has been about resilience, dedication, and the unwavering support of everyone who believed in me," said the new Mister South Africa.

"Thank you to my family, friends, and every person who stood by me and fueled my purpose. Together, we've shown that dreams, hard work, and passion can truly transform lives," he added. 

Marcel is expected to represent South Africa at the Mister Universe pageant.

Miss Hawaii USA 2025 is Issha Rose Mata from Hilo

Issha Rose Mata, representing the town of Hilo, bested 16 other contestants to win Miss Hawaii USA 2025 on Saturday, March 22 at Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. The 29-year-old model and digital marketing specialist was crowned by last year's winner and Miss USA 2024 Top 10 finalist Breea Yamat. Mikaela Bega of Maui was named first runner-up while Kristi Van Diver-Kometani of Kakaako, Alexia Locquiao Sommers of Kahala, and Faith Alvior of Valley Isle were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Tarlac's Jasmine Omay appointed Universal Woman Philippines 2025

Jasmine Omay has been appointed as Universal Woman Philippines 2025 and was officially crowned in a special ceremony held on Tuesday, March 25 in Quezon City. The 27-year-old events host, model and pilot from Tarlac will represent the Philippines at the Universal Woman 2025 pageant in Jaipur, India this June. Her predecessor  Maria Gigante from Cebu became the first Filipina to win the title of Universal Woman last year in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Four new queens have been crowned at the culmination of the Bellezas Globales de Nicaragua 2025 pageant held on Sunday, March 23 at the Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío in Managua.
