After Binibining Pilipinas was postponed indefinitely last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, the longest-running national pageant in the Philippines is finally happening this April.
Binibining Pilipinas Charities Incorporated (BPCI) chairperson Stella Araneta confirmed the news in a letter that was read on social media. According to the former beauty queen herself, the new queens will be crowned in a “new normal” and safe setting.
The reigning Bb. Pilipinas International, and Miss International 2019 Top 8 placer, Bea “Patch” Magtanong of Bataan is set to crown her successor on April 17 in Quezon City.
BPCI currently holds the national franchise for Miss International, Miss Grand International, Miss Intercontinental, and Miss Globe pageants.
