26-year-old beauty from Berbice, Faydeha King, was crowned Miss Earth Guyana 2019 last June 15 at the National Cultural Centre in Georgetown. She bested 7 other contestants to win the coveted title and succeeded Miss Earth Guyana 2018 Xamiera Kippins.
Aside from winning the crown, Faydeha also took home the best in evening gown, resort wear and talent awards. She will now prepare to represent Guyana at the Miss Earth 2019 pageant later this year.
Miss Eco Guyana 2019 title went to Cintiana Harry, also 26 years old from Berbice. The runners-up were Amelia Bakhsh and Annessa VanSluytman.
It’s the second edition of Miss Earth Guyana pageant under Guyana Premier, with the theme, “Celebrating the Flora of Guyana.”
