23-year-old Krystyna Sokołowska from Bialystok was crowned Miss Earth Poland 2019 on Friday, August 30 at the G2A Arena in Jasionka. She beat 11 other contestants to succeed last year’s winner, Aleksandra Grysz.
The rhythmic gymnast and student will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Earth 2019 pageant in the Philippines this coming October.
Sabina Poltawska, Milena Rokicka, and Vanessa Wietrzyk were proclaimed as Miss Earth Poland Air, Miss Earth Poland Water and Miss Earth Poland Fire 2019, respectively.
Former Miss Earth Poland, Francys Barraza-Sudnicka, is currently the national director and organizer of the newly established national pageant in the country.
Poland is yet to win the Miss Earth crown. The country’s highest placements in the pageant were runners-up in 2003 with Marta Matyjasik and in 2005 with Katarzyna Borowicz.
