Ukraine-born beauty, Ivanna Rohashko, was crowned Miss Earth Portugal 2020 on Saturday, September 12 during a local competition held in Viseu.
The 23-year-old master’s student in gerontology holds a degree in psychomotor rehabilitation. She was a runner-up in Miss Queen Portugal 2018 and competed in Miss Intercontinental 2019.
Ivanna replaced last year’s Miss Queen Portugal, Camila Vitorino, who has earlier this month renounces her title as Miss Earth Portugal due to professional reasons.
The new Miss Earth Portugal will represent her southern European country at the Miss Earth 2020 virtual competition this November.
In a social media post, Ivanna expressed the mixed emotions she felt for her designation and confessed it is the title she always dreamed of being able to conquer that was made possible with work and dedication.
Portugal is yet to win the Miss Earth crown. The country’s highest placement was Top 8 with Telma Madeira in 2018.
