Sonia Hernández has been recently appointed as Miss Earth Spain 2019 by the new national organization headed by the renowned producer, José Pulido.
The 22-year-old administration and marketing student will compete in the Miss Earth 2019 pageant in the Philippines on October 26. She’s the 14th woman to represent Spain at the international pageant.
Miss Earth Spain Organization has announced that a national pageant did not take place this year due to a lack of time to hold the event and the preparation of the Spanish representative for the international competition. Next year’s contest will be held in March.
Spain is yet to win the Miss Earth crown. The country’s highest achievements in the pageant were Ángela Gómez and Alejandra Echevarría’s Top 4 placements in 2007 and 2009.
