Lorinda Kolgeci, representing Kosovo, was crowned Miss Globe 2020 on Thursday, November 12 in Tirana, Albania.
The 20-year-old model and actress from Pristina is a graduate of food technology and biotechnology. She is a granddaughter of Miss Kosovo 1996 Diellza Kolgeci.
Lorinda bested over 40 contestants from across the world to win the international pageant that managed to push through despite the COVID-19 pandemic. She succeeds Alejandra Díaz de León of Mexico.
For her answer to the final question “If you would go back in the past, which moment would you like to relive?” she said: “Every moment of the past made me who I am today and it’s a product of who I am today, and of the success that I am today, but the moment that I miss the most is to hug my mom one more time.”
Siberia’s Matveeva Evgenia finished first runner-up while Ghana’s Naomi Chioma Anene was named second runner-up. Thawany Faria of Brazil and Rowena Sasaluya of the Philippines were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
