A 20-year-old media marketing student, Denisa Spergerová, has been officially named the new Miss Grand Czech Republic 2020.
Denisa took over the title from Barbora Aglerová who couldn’t make it to the Miss Grand International 2020 pageant in Bangkok, Thailand next month due to an accident.
The new Miss Grand Czech Republic is no stranger to pageantry as she was previously crowned the Miss Czech Republic in 2019 and that same year went on to compete in the Miss World pageant in London.
Miss Czech Republic organizers carefully picked the most suitable candidate to represent the country on the international stage and Denisa’s experience at Miss World makes her the best fit for the role.
In a social media post, Denisa said: “Thank you for all of your support. You give me a lot of energy to be the best. I will fight for me, for [Barbora Aglerová], and for us, Czech Republic.”
