Lady Leon has been officially announced as Miss Grand Dominican Republic 2020. She succeeds last year’s titleholder, Stéphanie Bustamante.
The 27-year-old beauty from Duarte will represent the Dominican Republic at the Miss Grand International 2020 pageant, whose date and venue are yet to be announced.
“Being [Miss Grand International] Dominican Republic means much more than just having a sash and a crown, it means commitment, courage, dedication, goals, dreams, and a number of other things,” she said in a social media post.
The Dominican Republic has won its first Miss Grand International crown in 2015 with Anea Garcia but unfortunately, she renounced her title 6 months later.
