A 24-year-old Japanese-Belgian beauty from Aomori, Adeline Minatoya, was crowned Miss Grand Japan 2019 last Tuesday, July 16 in Yokohama. She beat 25 other contestants to win the national title.
Daina Itagaki and Miho Omori, both from Kanagawa, were first and second runners-up, respectively.
The new Miss Grand Japan was crowned by last year’s winner and Miss Grand International 2018 4th runner up, Haruka Oda.
Adeline works as a publicist at a company that develops apps for social contribution activities. She will now prepare to represent Japan at the Miss Grand International 2019 in Caracas, Venezuela next October.
