Pricilia Carla Yules, representing South Sulawesi, beat 33 other beauties to win Miss Indonesia 2020 last Thursday, February 20 at the MNC Studios in Jakarta. She succeeds last year’s winner, Princess Megonondo.
The 23-year-old is a hospitality education graduate of William Angliss Institute in Melbourne, Australia.
Christella Fenisianti and Nadia Riwu Kaho were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Larissa Amelinda Soerayana and Salma Effendi completed the Top 5 finalists.
Miss World 2018 from Jamaica, Toni-Ann Singh, graced the glittering competition and performed her rendition of “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston.
The newly-crowned Miss Indonesia will represent her country at the Miss World 2020 pageant later this year.
