26-year-old beauty from Rome, Francesca Giordano, was crowned Miss International Italy 2019 last Sunday, June 9 at the Nikka Club in Riccione. The runners-up were Martina Montorio and Kimberly Abete.
Francesca bested 32 other contestants to win the national competition. She will now prepare to represent Italy at the Miss International 2019 pageant to be held in Tokyo, Japan in November.
Italy first sent a representative at Miss International in 1965 with Faida Fagioli who finished as 2nd runner-up – the country’s highest placement in the history of the pageant. Its last participation was in 2015.
