A 23-year-old beauty, Cindy Isendi, is the newly-appointed Miss International Kenya 2021. She succeeds Ivy Nyangasi Mido who held the national title in 2018.
The accountant by profession was born and raised in Western Kenya, in a town called Kakamega. She enjoys her free time learning new languages and being with children.
Cindy started modeling at age 18 and growing up she was inspired by top African models like Alek Wek who made her feel comfortable in her own skin and be confident.
Her pageant journey started when she won the title of Beauty of Africa Kenya 2019 and eventually the Beauty of Africa International 2019 pageant in Nigeria which she considers as one of the greatest moments of her life.
The new Miss International Kenya will represent her country eastern African country at the Miss International 2021 pageant in Yokohama, Japan.
Kenya debuted at Miss International competition in 2006 with Rachel Nyameyo and achieved its highest placement in 2015 with Eunice Onyango’s second runner-up finish.
