Nguyen Tuong San was officially proclaimed as the new Miss International Vietnam 2019 at a highly attended press conference held in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday, August 30. She succeeds last year’s winner, Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien.
The 19-year-old communications student at RMIT Hanoi campus will represent Vietnam at the Miss International 2019 pageant in Tokyo, Japan in November.
Reigning Miss International from Venezuela, Mariem Velazco graced the event. It was her first visit in the country.
Vietnam is yet to win it’s first Miss International crown. The country’s highest placement in the pageant was in 2015 with Pham Hong Thuy Van.
