Miss Polski 2020 has been officially announced to be aired from Warsaw over POLSAT TV on Sunday, January 17 at 8 p.m. local time.
The 31st edition of the national competition will be held for the first time without an audience to ensure safety measures against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Twenty-four of the most beautiful Polish women will battle it out for the coveted national beauty title.
Half of the finalists were determined by the panel of judges and they are Klaudia Andrzejewska, Natalia Balicka, Natalia Ciekańska, Wiktoria Ciochanowska, Angelika Duszczyk, Justyna Haberka, Ewa Jakubiec, Anna-Maria Jaromin, Żaneta Kotarba, Małgorzata Molik, Sandra Naum and Dominika Wójcik.
The remaining 12 finalists who were voted by the public are Agata Śron, Wiktoria Kozik, Roksana Jagła, Julia Gryczan, Sandra Krenc, Olga Król, Sabrina Olkowicz, Anita Sawicka, Klaudia Matczak, Marta Byczuk, Laura Wycichowska, and Martyna Zimmer.
Magdalena Kasiborska, the reigning titleholder who is set to compete in the 69th Miss Universe pageant this year, will crown her successor at the end of the event.
Aside from Miss Universe, the Miss Polski organization also holds the national franchise for Miss International and Miss Supranational pageants.
