Chaiyenne Huisman of Spain was crowned Miss Asia Pacific International 2019 on Wednesday, October 9 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila in Pasay City, the Philippines. She’s the first-ever representative from her country to win the international pageant.
The 20-year-old beauty queen from Madrid beat more than 50 other beauties to succeed last year’s winner, Sharifa Akeel of the Philippines.
Eoanna Constanza (Dominican Republic), Jessica Cianchino (Canada), Carolina Schuler (Brazil) and Fiorella Cortéz Arbenz (Costa Rica) were the first, second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
Lauralyn Vermeersch (Belgium), Alexandra Morillo (Peru), Jacqueline Alves (Portugal), Ana Marie Ciritel (Romania) and Chunita Wongwiboonrat (Thailand) completed the Top 10 finalists.
This year’s competition, hosted by Joey Mead King, Bobby Tonelli and Sam YG, is the fourth edition of Miss Asia Pacific International since its relaunch in 2016 after a ten-year hiatus. The pageant originally started in 1968 and it is currently under a new management headed by Jacqueline Tan-Sainz.
