It has been officially announced that Miss Supranational 2019 will be held on December 6 in Silesia Province, Poland. Now in its 11th edition, around 80 women from across the world will travel to the host country to compete for one of the most coveted international beauty titles in the world.
Silesian Province, situated at the boundary of Polish, Czech, Slovak, and German borders, is a place of many tourist attractions, ranging from the Beskid Mountains to Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. The province shows an interesting contrast between the traditional areas of industry and modern technologies, an example of a successful economic transformation, going through changes that adapted it to the contemporary economic and social challenges.
Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski, president of Miss Supranational organization said, “This year we will showcase to the world what Silesia Province is all about and I am delighted to bring the Miss Supranational competition here for the first time. Expect to learn more about the beauty of this province and the many tourist attractions such as the Industrial Monuments Route, which represents the industrial heritage of this region.”
The reigning Miss Supranational Valeria Vázquez Latorre is a medical technology student and model from San Juan, Puerto Rico. She will crown her successor at the end of the event.
Miss Supranational pageant was born in Płock, Poland 10 years ago. Its first winner is Oksana Moria from Ukraine.
