Chanique Rabe edged out 12 other beauties to be crowned Miss Supranational Namibia 2020 on Saturday, November 14 at Droombos.
The 23-year-old fashion designer and entrepreneur from Windhoek succeeds last year’s titleholder and Miss Supranational first runner-up, Yana Haenisch. She previously held the titles of Miss Teen Nambia and Miss Teen Continents.
Monique Smith and Andeline Wieland were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Ashleigh Kleintjes, Leoné van Jaarsveld, and Mathilde Daniels completed the Top 6.
The new Miss Supranational Namibia will represent her country at the Miss Supranational 2021 pageant, whose date and venue are yet to be announced.
This year’s national competition was originally scheduled to be held last October 3 but the organizers decided to postpone the event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
