Miss Qorihc, Miqueal-Symone Williams, was crowned Miss Universe Jamaica 2020 in a national competition that aired over FLOW 1 TV on Saturday, December 12.
The 23-year-old beauty from Kingston bested nine other finalists to win the title. She is an international model and student at the University of West Indies completing her degree in marketing and psychology.
“I believe that true confidence and true beauty comes from within. Our beauty and our physical attributes do not define us, it is our kindness and our personality that do,” she said on what it means to be confidently beautiful.
Abigail Pinnock and Monique Thomas were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Shanique Thompson and Samantha Williams completed the Top 5.
The new Miss Universe Jamaica succeeds last year’s winner, Iana Tickle Garcia. She will represent her Caribbean island country at the 69th Miss Universe pageant to be held in the first quarter of 2021 possibly in the USA.
