Miss Universe Korea 2020 is Park Ha Rin

Miss Universe Korea 2020 Park Ha RinPark Ha Rin has been officially announced as Miss Universe Korea 2020 on Thursday, December 17. She succeeds last year’s winner, Lee Yeon-joo.

The 24-year-old model and student from Incheon was the first runner-up during Miss Queen Korea 2019 pageant.

“I feel like I’m on top of the world to be part of Miss Universe,” Park wrote on her social media.

She added: “I wish this pandemic can settle down as soon as possible and bring our normal life back. I wish and I strongly think that we can overcome this barrier.”

Park ended her post by “sending love from Korea” and asking everyone to stay safe [amid the pandemic].

The newly-appointed beauty queen will represent her country at the 69th Miss Universe pageant to be held next year possibly in the USA.
