Natália Hoštáková has been officially announced as the newly-appointed Miss Universe Slovakia 2020.
The 25-year-old professional model hails from Bratislava. She was one of the finalists during the Ceska Miss 2019 pageant in Prague.
Natália succeeds Laura Longauerová and will now prepare to represent Slovakia at the 69th Miss Universe pageant whose date and venue are yet to be announced.
Over 60 delegates have already been selected so far to battle it out for the coveted international crown to be relinquished by the reigning queen from South Africa, Zozibini Tunzi.
The new Miss Universe Slovakia will enter the upcoming competition with the Czech Republic’s Cesko-Slovenska Miss and Miss Earth Water 2019, Klára Vavrušková.
Slovakia is yet to win the Miss Universe title. The country’s last successful placement was in the Top 6 during the 1994 competition with Silvia Lakatosova.
