Miss World 2019 contestants took part in the Top Model elimination round where a distinguished panel of judges selected the Top 40 based on their confidence, personality and how they present themselves.
Top 40 are the contestants from Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Barbados, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, China PR, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Finland, France, Haiti, Hong Kong China, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Macau China, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Nigeria, Philippines, Poland, Puerto Rico, Russia, Slovakia, South Sudan, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, Venezuela, Vietnam and Wales.
The next round of the fast track event will take place at The Fashion and Textile Museum where the winner will ultimately secure a place at this year’s final on December 14.
Miss World Top Model winners who have gone on to wear the famous blue crown include Zhang Zilin from China (Miss World 2007), Ksenia Sukhinova from Russia (Miss World 2008), Megan Young from the Philippines (Miss World 2013) and Mireia Lalaguna from Spain (Miss World 2015).
