Liana Voskerchyan (20) was crowned Miss World Armenia 2019 on Monday, July 15 at Prime Hall, in Yerevan. She beat more than 20 other beauties to win the coveted national title.
Monica Grigoryan and Aneta Gabrielyan were in the second and third places, respectively, while Liana Israelyan and Milena Tarian completed the Top 5 finalists.
The newly-crowned Miss Armenia, who hails from Yerevan, speaks a few foreign languages and plays guitar. She will now prepare to represent her country at the Miss World 2019 pageant later this year.
“I am very excited now, I want to justify and honor the title I received. I will try to do everything and represent Armenia at Miss World, which will take place in London,” Liana said shortly after winning the national competition.
Miss Armenia was founded in 1996 but didn’t participate in the Miss World pageant until 3 years ago when Lili Sargsyan was sent to represent the country at the Miss World 2017 pageant in Sanya, China.
