A 22-year-old commercial economics student from Arnhem, Brenda Felicia Muste, was crowned Miss World Netherlands 2019 on Thursday night, July 4 at the De Koning Party & Events in Amsterdam.
Elize de Jong and Jeanne Molenaar were the first and second runners-up, respectively.
Last year’s Miss World Netherlands, Leonie Hesselink, crowned her successor at the end of the event.
Brenda, who stands 170 cm tall, beat 14 other contestants to win the national competition. She earned the right to represent her country at the Miss World 2019 pageant in London later this year.
The Netherlands won Miss World twice with Corine Rottschäfer (Miss World 1959) and Catharina Johanna Lodders (Miss World 1962).
