Trịnh Văn Bảo (24) from Vietnam bested 38 other contestants to win Mister International 2019 on February 24 at One Esplanade, in Pasay City, Philippines. He succeeds last year’s winner, Seung Hwan Lee of Korea.
Francesco Piscitelli from Venezuela and Waikin Kwan from Hong Kong were the first and second runner-up, respectively.
Jiří Kmoníček from the Czech Republic and Mark Kevin Janda Baloaloa from the Philippines rounded out the Top 5 finalists.
The new Mister International was originally from Hai Phong and is currently living in Ho Chi Minh City. He’s a model and gym coach who loves beach soccer and swimming. With a background in music and drama, he hopes to pursue a career in acting, and eventually business.
Before joining Mister International 2019, Trịnh joined Supermodel Vietnam 2018 and finished first runner-up.
The prestigious event hosted by Michael Bristol was the 13th edition of the male pageant and the first time for the Philippines as a host country.
