Mr World 2019 Top Model Challenge was held on Wednesday night’s charity gala dinner at the Monet Grand Ballroom of the Novotel Manila Araneta Center in Cubao, Quezon City.
The contestants paraded in front of the judges wearing their swimsuits, shorts and the Filipino designed barong, an embroidered formal shirt considered as the national dress of the Philippines.
Top 25 contestants were from Angola, Argentina, Austria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China PR, Colombia, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, England, Italy, Lebanon, Mauritius, Mexico, Northern Ireland, Philippines, Poland, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Spain, Thailand and Venezuela.
Dominican Republic (Alejandro Martínez), England (Jack Heslewood), Venezuela (Jorge Núñez), Philippines (JB Saliba) and Mexico (Brian Faugier) were announced as the Top 5.
Mexico’s Brian Faugier was awarded as the most Photogenic contestant while England’s Jack Heslewood won the Best in Barong.
The winner of the Top Model Challenge who secures a place in the Top 12 will be announced on the finals this coming Friday, August 23 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines.
