Miss Mundo Atlantico, Andrea Romero, was crowned Miss Mundo Colombia 2024 (Miss World Colombia 2024) during the national competition held on Sunday, August 4 in Bogota. The 19-year-old beauty from Barranquilla, Atlantico bested 17 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Colombia at the 73rd Miss World. Her predecessor, Miss Mundo Colombia 2023 Catalina Quintero, will head to the 72nd Miss World whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Lucrezia Mangilli bested 24 other competitors to be crowned Miss World Italy 2024 on Sunday, June 16 at at Ecoresort Le Sirenè - Caroli Hotels in Gallipoli. The 23-year-old fashion model from Lombardia succeeds last year's winner Chiara Esposito and will represent Italy at the 73rd Miss World festival. Elena Lot from Friuli Venezia Giulia and Pamela Cesario Greggio from Veneto were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Manuela Paganini and Mariagrazia Ferro rounded out the Top 5 finalists while the rest of the Top 10 were Amira Infanto, Siria Gigliarano, Caterina Gaiardelli, Martina Avagliano, and Elisa De Rossi. From 50 beauties, only the Top 25 have been officially selected to move on to the upcoming final of Miss Mondo Italia 2024 (Miss World Italy). The grand final will be held next Sunday, June 16 at Ecoresort Le Sirenè - Caroli Hotels in Gallipoli. Last year's winner, Chiara Esposito, will crown her successor at the end of the event. Italian TV personality Giorgia Palmas will host the show while singer-songwriter Ivana Spagna will be the special guest performer.
