Miss Universe Brazil 2024 is Luana Cavalcante

Pernambucana Luana Cavalcante was crowned Miss Universe Brazil 2024 in a national competition held on Thursday, September 19 at Teatro Gamaro in São Paulo. The 25-year-old model and actress from the state of Pernambuco will represent Brazil at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. Gabriele Marinho of Alagoas and Maria Fabiana Mata of Rio de Janeiro were proclaimed the first and second runners-up, respectively. Eduarda Dallagnol of Rio Grande do Sul, Tatiana Gonçalves of Minas Gerais, Taynara Gargantini of Paraná, and Letícia Galvão of Espírito Santo completed the Top 7 finalists. Mister Rio Grande do Sul, Matheus Maia, edged out 23 other contestants to win Mister Brasil CNB 2024 (Mister Supranational Brasil 2024) on Saturday, April 6 in Tramandai, Rio Grande do Sul. The 26-year-old personal trainer and model succeeds last year's winner and Mister Supranational 2023 first runner-up, Henrique Martins. Matheus is expected to represent his country at the 8th Mister Supranational (Mister Supranational 2024) competition in Nowy Sącz, Poland this July. Itapuã Colony declared a historical site following petition by Miss Supranational

Within just a few days after a petition was handed over by Miss Supranational, Andrea Aguilera, and the CNB Brazil, the Governor of Rio Grande do Sul, The Honorable Eduardo Leite, declared the Itapuã Colony as a historical site. This important declaration means that the former Leprosy (Hansen's Disease) colony will be preserved as a site of historical value. The Governor signed a formal declaration to ensure that this colony would not be broken down to the delight of Miss Supranational 2023 Andrea Aguilera and the CNB Organization. "I am so happy that the Governor was kind enough to help us in our mission to preserve the Itapuã Colony and that we could play a small role in this," Andrea commented. The Miss Globe 2023 pageant is currently taking place in Albania. Over 50 women from around the globe have arrived in the host country to compete for the international crown. Brazil's Laura Catuzzo bagged the Miss Bikini title during the bikini competition held on Tuesday, November 7 at the Diamma Resort Conference & Spa in Durres. Anna Valencia Lakrini of the Philippines placed second while the contestants from Malaysia (Manvin Khera), South Africa (Neenã Macaïre Bezuidenhou), Spain (Katia Agbodo Rodriguez), Ukraine (Myroslava Lisikhun), USA (Kirstin Yvonne Bangs), and Venezuela (Daniela Rosales Marquez) were the rest of the Top 8 finalists. Beatriz Goulart of Rio Grande do Norte was crowned Miss Brasil Beleza Internacional 2023 (Miss International Brazil 2023) on Tuesday, August 29 at the Teatro Municipal de Niterói in Rio de Janeiro. The 22-year-old model and real estate marketing professional bested 15 other competitors to win the national title. She will now prepare to represent Brazil at Miss International 2023. Eduarda Engel of Santa Catarina and Weronica Sandmann of Mato Grosso were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Ariadne Salgado of Minas Gerias, Andressa Borges of Distrito Federal, and Fátima Grassi of Pará rounded out the Top 6 finalists. Maria Brechane edged out 26 other competitors to be crowned Miss Universo Brasil 2023 (Miss Universe Brazil 2023) on Saturday, July 8 at Pátio Welucci in São Paulo. The 19-year-old trilingual model, actress, and journalism student representing Rio Grande do Sul will represent Brazil at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador. She succeeds last year's winner Mia Mamede from Vitória, Espírito Santo. Bárbara Reis of Mato Grosso and Vitória Brodt of São Paulo were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Brazil 2023 has officially kicked off with the preliminary swimsuit competition of the 27 contestants held on Wednesday, June 5 in São Paulo. A new crown "Iêda" was also unveiled at Vasto Restaurant in honor of the victory and legacy of Brazil's first Miss Universe Iêda Maria Vargas who won the coveted international title 60 years ago. Adriana Yanca was crowned Miss Grand Brasil 2023 (Miss Grand Bazil 2023) in a national competition held on Saturday, June 10 at Recanto Cataratas Thermas Resort & Convention in Foz Do Iguacu, Paraná. The 26-year-old dental surgeon representing Zona da Mata Mineira bested 27 other competitors to win the title. She will now represent Brazil at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam this October. Sertão Central representative Morgana Carlos was crowned Miss Brasil Terra 2023 (Miss Earth Brazil 2023) on May 1 at the World Trade Center Teater, Sheraton Hotel in São Paulo. The 27-year-old dentist from Ceará bested 23 other competitors to win the national title. She succeeds Jéssica Pedroso, last year's winner who placed in the Top 12 at Miss Earth 2022. Jennifer Jaworski (Paraná), Larissa Pissinatto (Mato Grosso), and Bianca Becker (Distrito Federal) were named the elemental queens while Gabriella Serafim (Cerrado Goiano) rounded out the Top 5 finalists. No stranger to pageantry, Morgana participated in Miss Brasil Be Emotion 2016 (Miss Universe Brazil) while representing her home state and placed in the Top 5. Miss Charm Brazil Luma Russo bested 37 other contestants to be crowned Miss Charm 2023 on Thursday, February 16 Hoa Binh Theater in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The 27-year-old pilot and model made history by becoming the first-ever woman to win the Vietnam-based international beauty pageant. She also won a cash prize worth 100,000 US dollars.
