Apart from being a talented ballet dancer, the newly appointed Miss World Bulgaria 2023 also possesses impressive acting skills. It's worth noting that Ivana will be the youngest participant in the upcoming Miss World competition, which will take place in India. Yuliia Pavlikova was crowned Miss Universe Bulgaria 2023 in a glittering event held on Friday, October 27 in Sofia. The 30-year-old model succeeds last year's titleholder Kristina Plamenova and will now have to prepare shortly for the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador this coming November. Fani Apostolova, Iliana Chakarova, and Stefi Taneva were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Universe Bulgaria was born and raised in Crimea to a Bulgarian father and a Ukrainian mother. She is no stranger to pageantry having joined several pageants in the past including Miss Earth 2021 and Miss Grand International 2022. Kristiyana Yordanova was crowned Miss World Bulgaria 2022 in a competition held last Wednesday, December 7 at the Princess Casino Sofia Ramada Hotel & Spa in Sofia. The 24-year-old author and psychology and neuroscience student at the University of British Columbia will represent Bulgaria at the 71st Miss World pageant. Prior to winning her national title, she participated in the Miss World Canada 2022 pageant on November 13 and placed in the Top 15. In a post on social media, she shared how honored she feels to receive the crown and be able to represent her home country. "I was deeply affected as a child when I had to move away from everything I had ever known. I missed my roots deeply, and so being able to connect with my culture yet again so seamlessly was so beautiful and genuine," she wrote. Eva Dobreva was officially announced as Miss World Bulgaria 2021 last October 28 following an online casting among 48 applicants from across the country. The 21-year-old beauty from Varna is a singer, model, actress, and award-winning performer. She succeeds Miss World Bulgaria 2019 Margo Cooper and now preparing to represent her country at the 70th Miss World pageant to be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico this December. Presently, Eva is a student at the University of Economics – Varna pursuing hotel and restaurant management studies. She speaks English and Russian fluently and enjoys various physical activities and sports such as kickboxing, karate, swimming, and tennis to keep her body fit. From a very young age, the new Miss World Bulgaria has been involved in different events volunteering and helping people in need. Elena Danova has been officially named Miss Universe Bulgaria 2021 on October 28 following an online casting among 48 applicants from all over the country. The 21-year-old public relations student at Sofia University hails from Krichim. She is also a model, actress, and singer who speaks English and German fluently. "I can not describe the joy I feel. Meet the official delegates of the Miss Earth 2021 virtual competition from Bulgaria, Indonesia, Northern Marianas, and Peru: Miss Earth Bulgaria 2021 is 28-year-old Yuliia Pavlikova. She holds a doctorate degree in economics and is a member of the Fund for the Protection of Animals. Monica Francisca Khonado was appointed as Miss Earth Indonesia 2021. She is a host and moderator and founded the sustainability project Voice of Nature Indonesia. Crystal Fiona Rio was named Miss Earth Northern Marianas 2021 in a national competition held at the Hyatt Regency Saipan on September 18. The 18-year-old college student is currently working towards her master's degree in psychology. Miss Earth Peru 2021 is Briggitte Corrales, who is a graduate of business and marketing.
