Miss Mundo Colombia 2022 is Camila Andrea Pinzon

Camila Andrea Pinzon, representing Boyaca, was crowned Miss Mundo Colombia 2022 (Miss World Colombia) on Saturday, August 20 in Bogota. The 26-year-old beauty who holds two master's degrees in marketing and business from the Sorbonne University in Paris will represent Colombia at the 71st Miss World pageant. She speaks several languages including French, English, Italian, German, and her native Spanish. Sofia Donado of Magdalena was named Virreina while Eleonora Penagos of Bogota and Miranda Rodríguez of Guaviare were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Last year's titleholder, Andrea Aguilera, who placed in the Top 13 at 70th Miss World, relinquished her crown at the end of the event. Miss Universe Colombia 2023 official casting took place in Bogotá

The search for the next Miss Universe Colombia, who will represent her country at Miss Universe 2023, kicked off with the official casting that took place on Monday, August 8 at Casa Dann Carlton Hotel & Spa in Bogotá. With the presence of reigning Miss Universe Colombia 2022 María Fernanda Aristizábal, who will compete in Miss Universe 2022 later this year, the aspirants faced the selection committee including Miss Universe Colombia organization president Natalie Ackermann, Vae bienestar integral's Dr. Victoria Escalante, and businesswoman Loren Hatch. The organization has yet to reveal the list of official contestants who will be vying for the coveted national title as well as the official date and venue for the final competition. Miss Cartagena, Valeria Ayos, was crowned Miss Universe Colombia 2021 in a glittering national final held at the Chamorro Entertainment City Hall in Bogotá on Monday, October 18. The 27-year-old model and international relations professional bested 23 other contestants to succeed Laura Olascuaga and earn the opportunity to represent her country at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel this December. The 23-year-old social communicator and early childhood care technician holds a diploma in neuro-linguistic programming. Her Beauty with a Purpose project “Nutrir Neuronas” tackles child malnutrition and she works with “Othello Nutrition” to give specialized nutritional food to hundreds of children with chronic malnutrition.
