Miss Sud Comoé, Marlène-Kany Kouassi, bested 26 other finalists to be crowned Miss Côte d'Ivoire 2022 on Saturday, July 2 at Sofitel Abidjan. Nassita Diako and Laurel Gnakpa were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Amy Touré and Paule-Nelly Kouamé completed the Top 5. Reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska, Miss World CEO Julia Morley, and Miss World Europe Anna Leitch were special guests during the event. The new Miss Côte d'Ivoire, a 23-year-old law graduate and model, succeeded last year's winner and Miss World runner-up, Olivia Yacé.
