Miss Universe Cuba 2024 is Marianela Ancheta

After 57 years, Cuba is set to return to the Miss Universe pageant with the newly crowned Miss Universe Cuba 2024 Marianela Ancheta. The 31-year-old entrepreneur representing the Central Region beat 23 other contestants to win the national competition held on Thursday, September 26 in Miami, Florida. She also bagged the Miss Photogenic award. Alina Robert and Maylin Hernández were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. "Today has been a day full of emotion and gratitude, going through media and sharing this achievement with all of you. I don't have enough words to thank you for all the support and love you have given me since the beginning," said the new Miss Universe Cuba. Stephany Diaz to represent Cuba at Miss Earth 2024

Stephany Diaz, representing Isla de la Juventud, was proclaimed Miss Earth Cuba 2024 during the national competition held last June 22 at the Seminole Theatre in Homestead, Florida. The 19-year-old native of Güines, Cuba also bagged the Best Interview award. She received her crown from Miss Earth Cuba 2022 Sheyla Ravelo Perez with the presence of former titleholders Monica Aguilar, and Ariana Barouk. This year's competition, presented by NBNC (Nuestra Belleza Nacional Cuba), also awarded the elemental titles of Miss Earth Cuba Air, Miss Earth Cuba Water and Miss Earth Cuba Fire respectively to Mariana Chavez, Leidy Laura, and Stefhany Perez. The new Miss Earth Cuba holds a degree in political science and is currently attending law school with the aspiration to work as an advocate in a non-profit organization. María José Cetina Alfonso was crowned Miss Supranational Cuba 2024 in a glittering ceremony held on Sunday, March 24 at Cuz Miami in Doral, Florida. The 19-year-old medical student hailing from Camagüey, Cuba will now prepare to compete for Miss Supranational 2024 in Poland this July. Aside from the new Miss Supranational Cuba, Branden Alaen was also proclaimed as Mister Supranational Cuba 2024 during Sunday's event. The international model, recording artist, and growth and accountability coach will also travel to Poland for Mister Supranational 2024. Miss Earth Cuba 2023 is Aleida Josefa Perez

Aleida Josefa Perez was crowned Miss Earth Cuba 2023 in a special ceremony held last August 26 at the Caro Wellness Center in Miami Florida. The 22-year-old was appointed by Nuestra Belleza Nacional Cuba (NBNC) and will represent her Cuban roots at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam later this year. She succeeds last year's titleholder Sheyla Ravelo who placed in the Top 12 at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines. A graduate of the University of Florida with a double major in political science and international studies, Aleida is currently working as a certified paralegal specializing in business immigration. She is fluent in fluent in English, Spanish, and Arabic. The new Miss Earth Cuba founded her own nonprofit organization "Hearts in Mind" with the motto "Thinking with love" to press issues of education inequality, particularly in under-resourced communities. Former Miss Earth Cuba, Sheyla Ravelo Perez was crowned Miss International Cuba 2023 in a national competition held over the weekend in Tampa, Florida. The 23-year-old Cuba-born beauty succeeds last year's titleholder Rachel Martín and will now prepare to represent Cuba at Miss International 2023 in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan this October. No stranger to pageantry, the environmental advocate previously held the title of Miss Earth Cuba and went on to participate in Miss Earth 2022 held in the Philippines where she placed in the Top 12 among 85 contestants. "With a grateful heart and a humbled spirit, I vow to represent nuestra patria with grace and dignity as I wear Cuba across my heart and once again make history para nuestra isla bella," shared the new Miss International Cuba. Daruma Almenares (left) was proclaimed Mister International Cuba 2023 in a national competition held by Reinado Nacional de Belleza Cuba (RNB Cuba) last July 30 in Miami. The 29-year-old model, composer, and personal trainer will now represent Cuba at Mister International 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand this September. He succeeds last year's titleholder Rubert Manuel Arias, a Top 10 finalist at the Mister International 2022 edition held in Quezon City, Philippines. Before pageantry, Daruma studied veterinary medicine and went into boxing where he earned first place in the Diamond Gloves league. He has been featured as a model in several magazines and had the opportunity to be on the cover on four occasions. The new Mister International Cuba wants to inspire the youth to fight against bullying and be confident in themselves through his experiences and professional knowledge. Former Miss Supranational USA Sofia Acosta was crowned Miss Grand Cuba in a national competition on Sunday, August 20 held at Marriott Tampa Westshore. The 26-year-old Cuba-born model residing in Miami will now prepare to represent Cuba at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam this coming October. Sofia is currently a construction management student at Florida International University while working as an assistant project manager for Miami-Dade County. The new Mister and Miss Supranational Cuba titleholders were officially announced last Sunday, May 28 at Cuz Miami in Doral, Florida. Former Miss Intercontinental USA and Miss Intercontinental 2019 first runner-up, Monica Aguilar, was appointed as Miss Supranational Cuba 2023. The 24-year-old biology student from Camagüey succeeds Liz Rodriguez and will represent Cuba at Miss Supranational 2023 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland on July 14. Richard Acosta, a 27-year-old banker and personal trainer from Havana was named Mister Supranational Cuba 2023 and will compete in Mister Supranational 2023 at the same venue in Małopolska on July 15. Mister Global Cuba Juan Carlos Ariosa beat 38 other competitors to win Mister Global 2022 held on Saturday, February 11 at the Royal Park Rajapruek in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The 28-year-old actor, model, and dental surgeon originally from Matanzas, Cuba succeeded Danh Chieu Linh of Vietnam for the coveted international title. He also bagged the Mister Photogenic award. Oscar Guerrero of Colombia and William Gama of Brazil were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Kim Hee Won of Korea and Setthapan Thongsuk of Thailand rounded out the Top 5 finalists. The rest of the Top 15 were the gentlemen from Chile, India, Mexico, Nigeria, North Cyprus, Peru, Poland, South Africa, Spain, and Vietnam.
