Miss World Dominican Republic 2024 is Mayra Delgado

Mayra Delgado was crowned Miss Mundo Dominicana 2024 in a national competition held on Saturday, November 9 at the Barceló Bávaro Convention Center in Punta Cana. The 23-year-old beauty representing Distrito Nacional bested 15 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Maria Victoria Bayo Martinez and will represent the Dominican Republic at the 72nd Miss World. Adriana Müller González of Samaná and Maria Fernanda Tiburcio of Jarabacoa were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. Celinee Santos Frias was crowned Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2024 during the Miss Republica Dominicana 2024 final competition held on Sunday, May 5 at Centro de Convenciones Sambil in Santo Domingo. The 24-year-old model and actress, representing Distrito Nacional, will now represent the Dominican Republic at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico later this year. Melissa Nuñez of the Dominican Community in the USA was first runner-up. She received the title Miss International Dominican Republic 2024 and will go to Miss International 2024. The second runner-up, Haidy Cruz of Monte Cristi was named Reina Hispanoamericana Dominican Republic 2024 and will go to Reina Hispanoamericana 2024. Jan Carrasco was proclaimed Mister Supranational Dominican Republic 2023 on Saturday, April 22 at the Auditorio Patrick N. Hughson in Santo Domingo. The 29-year-old actor and photographer representing Santiago bested 14 other competitors to win the national competition. He succeeded Lewis Echavarria and will now prepare for Mister Supranational 2023 to be held in Poland this July.
