Femina Miss India World 2024 is Nikita Porwal from Madhya Pradesh

Femina Miss India 2024, the 60th annual Femina Miss India pageant was held last Wednesday, October 16 at  Famous Studios  in Mumbai. Nikita Porwal, a 24-year-old actress from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh, bested 29 other contestants to be crowned Femina Miss India World 2024 (Miss World India). Rekha Pandey of Union Territory and Aayushi Dholakia of Gujarat were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Sifti Singh Sarang of Delhi, Shruti Raul of Goa, Angelia Marwein of Meghalaya, and Arshia Rashid of Maharashtra rounded out the Top 7 finalists. The new Femina Miss India succeeds last year's winner Nandini Gupta from Rajasthan. She will represent India at the 73rd Miss World competition. Femina Miss India 2023 is Nandini Gupta of Rajasthan

Miss Rajasthan, Nandini Gupta, bested 29 other competitors to win Femina Miss India 2023 on Saturday, April 15 at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium in Imphal, Manipur. The 19-year-old model and business management student at Lala Lajpat Rai College received her crown from last year's winner Sini Shetty of Karnataka. She is now expected to represent India at the Miss World 2024 pageant. Miss Delhi, Shreya Poonja, and Miss Manipur, Thounaojam Strela Luwang were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Rounding out the Top 7 were representatives of Chhattisgarh, Aditi Sharma, Karnataka, Megan Edward, Kerala, Christeena Biju, and Maharashtra, Apurva Chavan. The rest of the Top 12 semifinalists were from Assam, Anushka Lekharu, Himachal Pradesh, Nikeet Dhillon, Sikkim, Zaanvii Sharma, Uttar Pradesh, Tanya Sharma, and West Bengal, Shaswati Bala. The start-studded Femina Miss India 2023 Awards Night was held on Wednesday, March 22 at the Time Virtual Studio in Vile Parle, Mumbai. Reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska, who just arrived in Mumbai, attended the red carpet event wearing a beautiful traditional lehenga by Falguni Shane Peacock India. Femina Miss India 2023: Meet the 30 contestants

Following several rounds of auditions across the country, the Top 30 state winners of Femina Miss India 2023 have been officially revealed. The national pageant is expected to hold its 59th edition this April at Imphal, Manipur, but the exact date of the final competition is yet to be announced. Last year's winner Sini Shetty of Karnataka, who will represent India at the 71st Miss World edition (Miss World 2023), will crown her successor at the end of the event. Femina Miss India 2022 is Sini Shetty

The 58th Femina Miss India pageant was held on Sunday, July 3 at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. A 21-year-old Bharatanatyam dancer from Karnataka, Sini Shetty, bested 29 other contestants to win the title of Femina Miss India 2022. Rubal Shekhawat from Rajasthan and Shinata Chauhan from Uttar Pradesh were respectively named the first and second runners-up while Gargee Nandy and Pragnya Ayyagari completed the Top 5 finalists. Last year's winner and 70th Miss World Top 13 placer, Manasa Varanasi, crowned her successor at the end of the event. The new Femina Miss India holds a degree in accounting and finance, and currently pursuing CFA as a professional course. She will now prepare to represent India at the 71st Miss World pageant. Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra welcomes first child with Nick Jonas

Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra took to social media to announce that she has welcomed her first child with her husband. The Indian beauty shared: "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family." Her post received an outpouring amount of congratulatory messages like one from her fellow Femina Miss India and Miss Universe 2000 winner, Lara Dutta. Priyanka was crowned Miss World 2000 at the age of 18 before becoming a famous actress in both Bollywood and Hollywood. She married American singer and actor Nick Jonas in December of 2018. Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen wins Champions of Change Awards 2020

Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen has won a national award on Friday, April 16 for her contribution to social welfare and women empowerment. Founded in 2011, the Champions of Change is an Indian award for promoting Gandhian values (Swachata), community service, and social development. The beauty queen-turned-actress dedicated the award to Indian women whom she called the "nation's strongest backbone." "Let’s continue to take small steps & big changes will follow," she wrote on social media. The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) has also acknowledged her achievement in a post on its official page to which she replied: "Life comes a full circle! Thank you [Miss Universe]. I cherish the journey that began with you at 18." Sushmita won the Femina Miss India 1994 pageant and went on to represent India at Miss Universe 1994 in Manila, Philippines. VLCC Femina Miss India 2020: Manasa Varanasi to represent India at 70th Miss World

Manasa Varanasi of Telangana bested 14 other finalists to be crowned VLCC Femina Miss India World 2020 in a competition held at the Hyatt Regency in Mumbai on Wednesday, February 10. The 23-year-old beauty studied at Vasavi College of Engineering in Hyderabad and works as an analyst at a financial firm. She will now prepare to represent India at the 70th Miss World pageant later this year. Manika Sheokand of Haryana was named VLCC Femina Miss Grand India 2020 while Manya Singh of Uttar Pradesh clinched the runner-up position. Khushi Misra and Rati Hulji completed the Top 5 finalists. Miss World 2019 second runner-up and Miss World Asia 2019, Suman Rao, crowned her successor at the end of the event.
