Reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska has arrived in Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire for the first time together with Miss World CEO Julia Morley and Miss World Europe Anna Leitch. They were welcome at the airport by reigning Miss Cote D'Ivoire and Miss World Africa Olivia Yace, and Comici De Cote D'Ivoire President Víctor Yapobi. It was the first time the 70th Miss World Top 3 beauties were together since their competition in Puerto Rico last March. Miss World Organization was delighted to share that Julia Morley has been awarded the CBE in Her Majesty, The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Birthday Honours List. The CBE (Commander British Empire) has been awarded in recognition of Julia’s charitable and voluntary services to disadvantaged people in the UK and across the world. “I am absolutely thrilled. It is so special to be recognized in this way," said the Chairman and CEO of Miss World. Julia Morley coined the phrase "Beauty With A Purpose" as her vision for young women to use their talents to help those less fortunate than themselves. Officially launched in 1972, Beauty With A Purpose has had a significant impact on improving the lives of the sick and disadvantaged. 50 years later, the program is now operating in 142 countries with funds raised for humanitarian projects exceeding 1 billion US dollars. Miss South Africa 2021 final in Cape Town saw a reunion of old friends as Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza was reunited with Julia Morley CEO and Chairman of Miss World.
