Miss Universe Kenya 2024 is Irene Ng'endo

After a 2-year hiatus, Kenya is set to return to the Miss Universe stage with Irene Ng'endo Mukii who was crowned Miss Universe Kenya 2024 on Friday, August 16 at the Argyle Grand Hotel in Nairobi. The 26-year-old software engineer beat 15 other finalists to win the national title. She will represent Kenya at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. Mercy Jerotich and Stacy Sang were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Reigning Miss Universe from Nicaragua, Sheynnis Palacios, was a special guest at the glittering event. The new Miss Universe Kenya is also a philanthropist and fitness enthusiast. She founded The Mansion Dance Studio, which offers ballet and general dance classes to kids and young adults. No stranger to pageantry, Irene is a former Miss Grand Kenya. She competed in Miss Grand International 2020 in Bangkok, Thailand where she placed in the Top 20. Miss World Kenya 2022 is Chantou Kwamboka

Chantou Kwamboka was crowned Miss World Kenya 2022 in a glittering gala held on Saturday, December 10 at the Two Rivers Mall in Nairobi. The 24-year-old model, catwalk coach and actor succeeded last year's titleholder Sharon Obara and will now prepare to represent Kenya at the 71st Miss World pageant. "Last night was one for the books. I still haven't soaked it in all yet. I'm happy, blessed, grateful, and highly favored. I smile, cry, and laugh all at the same time. This is truly a dream come true. I am completely grateful for how this journey has unfolded," she shared on social media. Digital creator Wanjiku Kariuki and mental health advocate Wabaiya Kariuki were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. Kenya has yet to win the Miss World crown. Kenya's Messry Lung'atso wins Beauty of Africa International Pageant 2022

Messry Lung'atso of Kenya won the Beauty of Africa International Pageant (BAIP) 2022 competition on Friday, September 9 at the Sheraton Hotel in Abuja, Nigeria. The 23-year-old beauty who hails from Mumias, a town in Kakamega County of Kenya, is a final-year student pursuing a degree in economics at the University of Nairobi. Apart from her title, she also bagged the Miss Photogenic award. Ghana's Prisca Abah was named first runner-up and was awarded Best in National Costume while Nigeria's Juliana Okereke finished as second runner-up. The Most Friendly and Best in Evening Gown awards were given to Tanzania's Nazimizye Adam Mdolo while Miss Central Africa's Nadjo Emilie took home the Best in Talent. The Miss World Organization has officially announced the Top 6 contestants of the Miss World 2021 Beauty With A Purpose, the core of the pageant. They are from  England , Rehema Muthamia, India , Manasa Varanasi, Kenya , Sharon Obara, Philippines , Tracy Perez, South Africa , Shudufhadzo Musida, and the United States , Shree Saini. The selected contestants will now automatically advance to the Miss World 2021 semi-finals and their Beauty With A Purpose projects in their own countries will also receive support from the MWO. Miss World Kenya 2021 is Sharon Obara

Sharon Obara bested 15 other contestants to be crowned Miss World Kenya 2021 in a national competition held last Saturday, August 28 at the Trademark Hotel in Nairobi. The 19-year-old beauty succeeds Miss World Kenya 2019 Maria Nyamai Wavinya and will represent her East African country at the 70th Miss World pageant in San Juan, Puerto Rico this December. Chantou Kwamboka and Mwihaki Njogu were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. "I'm humbled to have been the one bestowed the honor to represent Kenya at Miss World. I am still in awe of the support and love that is still coming my way. The journey has just but began," Sharon said. "I vow to do my best, lead with my heart, continue the Miss World legacy, and most importantly touch twice as many lives through my Beauty with a Purpose project," she added.
