The 24-year-old model and actress, who represented the state of Colima, will participate in the 62nd Miss International (Miss International 2024). Her predecessor, Itzía Garcia, who is also from Colima, will be heading to Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan for Miss International 2023 this October. Melissa Flores bested over 30 other competitors to be crowned Mexicana Universal 2023 (Miss Universe Mexico 2023) in a national competition held on Saturday, September 2 at the Convention and Exhibition Center of Aguascalientes. Andrea Meza of Mexico was crowned as the 69th Miss Universe in a glittering competition held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, USA on Sunday, May 16.
