Abbie Stockard from Vestavia Hills, Alabama was crowned Miss America 2025 on Sunday, January 5 at The Walt Disney Theater of the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida. The 22-year-old nursing student and cheerleader at Auburn University beat 51 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner, active duty Air Force officer Madison Marsh of Colorado. Annette Addo-Yobo of Texas was named the first runner-up while Carley Jaymes Vogel of Tennessee, Casana Fink of Florida, and Stephanie Finoti of Ohio were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Bay Area native representing Santa Clara County, Kimberly Vernon, was crowned Miss California 2024 on Saturday, June 15 at the Visalia Convention Center. The 27-year-old artist, educator and advocate for the arts triumphed over 40 other contestants to win the state title during the pageant's 100th anniversary celebration.
