Lujane Yacoub was crowned Miss Universe Bahrain 2023 in a national competition held at Mirihi Island Resort in Maldives and streamed live on Saturday, September 2 through the official Miss Universe YouTube channel. The 19-year-old Bahraini-American actress, dancer, and model who grew up in the UAE already joined last year's competition and placed first runner-up. She now succeeds Evlin Khalifa and will represent Bahrain at the Miss Universe 2023 pageant in El Salvador this November. The 24-year-old pianist and model from Riffa, the second largest city in the Kingdom of Bahrain, opened the premiere show of the brand's Couture Fall-Winter 22/23 season on Tuesday, October 11 at Dubai Design District.
