Miss Earth 2024 kicks off in the Philippines

Miss Earth 2024, the 24th edition of the annual Miss Earth pageant has officially kicked off in the Philippines. Over 70 beauties from different parts of the planet have arrived in the host country to compete for the crown. They were officially introduced in a press presentation on Wednesday, October 23 at the 5-star Okada Manila Hotel in Parañaque City, Metro Manila. The contestants walked the red carpet runway wearing stunning creations by Filipino designers, each featuring the indigenous weaves of the Philippines. USA's Bea Millan Windorski won the gold medal for Best Philippine Heritage Attire while Tamara Aznar of the Dominican Republic and Tiffany Faith Wanyama of Kenya received the silver and bronze medals, respectively. Miss Earth 2024 final date and venue officially announced

The Miss Earth organization officially announced the Philippines on Monday, September 2 as the host country of the Miss Earth 2024 competition. According to the organizers, this year's theme is "Heritage" and the pageant will not only showcase the breathtaking eco-tourism destinations and rich heritage of the Philippines but also feature the heritage of participating countries from around the world. This year's competition, now on its 24th edition, will start in October and the final coronation night will be held on November 9 at Okada Manila in Parañaque City, Metro Manila. Reigning Miss Earth Drita Ziri from Albania will crown her successor at the culmination of the event. All events will be streamed live worldwide on Miss Earth's social media accounts. Miss Earth United Arab Emirates 2024 is Noura Aljasmi

The United Arab Emirates is all set to debut at the Miss Earth pageant with the newly crowned Miss Middle East 2024 (Miss Earth United Arab Emirates 2024). Noura, a 22-year-old aviation science student from Abu Dhabi, bested 29 other contestants to win the beauty title. She made history as the first-ever Emirati woman to participate in Miss Earth. The inaugural edition of the Miss Middle East pageant was held in Ras Al Khaimah. Reigning Miss Earth from Albania, Drita Ziri, attended the event as a special guest judge. "Being in this competition goes far beyond modeling and walking the runway. It's about embodying diplomacy and responsibility," said the new Miss Earth UAE. Miss Earth Thailand 2024 is Rachadawan Fowler

Rachadawan "Soda" Fowler was crowned Miss Earth Thailand 2024 during the national competition on Sunday, August 18 at the InterContinental Bangkok. The 22-year-old Thai-American beauty beat 15 other finalists to win the title. She will represent Thailand at Miss Earth 2024 whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Nanticha Kasia was named Miss Earth Land while Wantira Prompraphan, Jidapa Charoenpong, and Kanchanok Puttharakchat were Miss Earth Air, Water, and Fire, respectively. Cora Bliault, last year's winner who made the Top 4 at Miss Earth 2023, relinquished her reign at the end of the event. The new Miss Earth Thailand graduated with a bachelor of science degree in nutrition from the University of Surrey in Guildford, England. Meet the winners of Miss Nepal 2024

The Miss Nepal 2024 final competition was held on Saturday, August 3 at the Godavari Sunrise Convention Center in Lalitpur. A total of 26 contestants from across the country competed during the 28th edition of the annual competition. Crowned Miss Nepal World 2024 is a 26-year-old entrepreneur and social worker from Kathmandu, Ashma Kumari KC. She succeeds last year's titleholder, Srichchha Pradhan, and will represent Nepal at the 73rd Miss World. Raina Majgaiya and Prasiddhy Shah also crowned their respective successors during the live telecast on Himalaya TV. Miss Nepal Earth 2024 Sumana KC from Chitwan and Miss Nepal International 2024 Karuna Rawat from Tanahun will represent Nepal at Miss Earth 2024 and Miss International 2024, respectively. Ann Furukawa bested over 20 other contestants to win Miss Earth Japan 2024 during the national competition held on Thursday, August 1 in Tokyo. The 21-year-old representing Hyogo succeeds last year's winner Kirari Oshiro and will now prepare to compete in Miss Earth 2024 whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Yukina Uehara of Saitama, Nako Takeuchi of Oita, and Yoshino Maruta of Kagawa placed second (Miss Air Japan), third (Miss Water Japan) and fourth (Miss Fire Japan), respectively. Meet the winners of Miss Kyrgyzstan 2024

The Miss Kyrgyzstan 2024 final was held on Thursday, July 25 in Bishkek. A total of 23 beauties competed for the national crowns at stake. Mary Kuvakova, 18, was crowned Miss Kyrgyzstan Universe 2025 and will head to the Miss Universe 2025 pageant. She received the crown from last year's winner Akylai Kalberdieva. Kyrgyzstan will be represented at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November by Maya Turdalieva who was crowned Miss Kyrgyzstan Universe during last year's competition. Ariet Sanzharova, 16, clinched the Miss Kyrgyzstan World 2025 title while Aiperi Nurbekova, 24, was named Miss Kyrgyzstan Earth 2025. The Top 16 finalists vying for the title of Miss Earth Thailand 2024 have been officially revealed earlier this week. Headed by Miss Earth Thailand national director Dr. Sirikan Onsonkran, a panel of judges consisting of beauty pageant gurus and influencers in an audition round held in Bangkok. This year's national final will be held on August 18 at the InterContinental Bangkok and will be broadcast live on Thai TV Channel ONE31. The winner of the upcoming competition, to be crowned by reigning Miss Earth Thailand and Miss Earth Fire 2023 Cora Bliault, will represent "The Land of Smiles" at Miss Earth 2024. Shuntell Ezomo was crowned Miss Earth Nigeria 2024 during the national competition held on Sunday, July 21 at the Palacio Event Centre in Port Harcourt, River State. The 25-year-old model, media personality and YouTuber from Edo State will represent Nigeria at the Miss Earth 2024 pageant. She succeeds last year's titleholder Shelly Usman. Igbele Blessing of Delta, Cynthia Penelope of Enugu, Favour James of Abuja, and Mary Agioboh of AkwaIbom were crowned Miss Earth Nigeria Air, Water, Fire and Eco-Tourism, respectively. The 24th Miss Earth competition is expected to be held in Southeast Asia. The Miss Earth organization has yet to officially announce its final date and venue. Nathalie Díaz is the newly crowned Miss Earth Spain 2024 and will represent her country at the Miss Earth 2024 pageant. She succeeds last year's winner Edurne Fernández. Her elemental court consists of first runner-up Paula Pérez (Miss Earth Air), second runner-up Jheimy Piña (Miss Earth Water), and third runner-up Frangelis Rivero (Miss Earth Fire). Miss Namibia 2024 is Prisca Anyolo from Windhoek

Prisca Anyolo was crowned Miss Namibia 2024 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, July 20 in the historic town of Lüderitz. The 28-year-old award-winning journalist and television presenter from Windhoek bested nine other finalists to win the coveted national title.
