Filipino-Chinese Charmaine Maurice Fallaria Ng was crowned Miss Earth Singapore 2022 in a glittering competition that took place last night at the One Farrer Hotel. The 23-year-old registered nurse bested 13 other finalists to win the national title. She will now prepare to represent Singapore at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines this November. Priscilla Pang Xin Pei was named Miss Earth Singapore Air, while Alethea Yee, Anna Yang, and Xue Jing Pang clinched the titles Miss Earth Singapore Water, Fire, and Ecotourism, respectively. Last year's titleholder Ruth Isabelle d'Almeida relinquished her reign at the end of the event. She was also joined by her sister queens Charlotte Victoria Tay and Ellen Wong, and predecessors Gerlyn Cheah and Christina Cai. Miss Earth Singapore 2022 final competition will be held tonight at the Grand Ballroom of One Farrer Hotel, Singapore. This year's pageant themed "Futurism: Shaping the Earth of Tomorrow" will be broadcast live on the official Miss Earth Singapore Facebook and Instagram page from 7:30 to 10 p.m. local time. A total of 14 finalists will be vying for the national title and the opportunity to represent Singapore at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines this November.
