Belindé Schreuder has been officially announced on Thursday, October 5 to represent South Africa at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam later this year. The 27-year-old model and professional makeup artist hailing from Lephalale, Limpopo was named first runner-up (Miss Air) during Miss Earth South Africa 2023 last month in Johannesburg. Zabelo Hlabisa bested nine other finalists to win Miss Earth South Africa 2023 in a ceremony held on Saturday, September 9 at Sandton Southern Sun in Johannesburg. The 29-year-old entrepreneur and international multi-award-winning model from Newcastle in KwaZulu-Natal will now represent South Africa at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam this December. Ziphozethu Sithebe was named Miss Earth South Africa 2022 on Thursday, September 29 at the Southern Sun Rosebank in Johannesburg. The 21-year-old TV personality and an aspiring pilot succeeded last year's titleholder Nompumelelo Maduna and will now prepare to represent South Africa at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant in the Philippines this November. "Thank you [Miss Earth South Africa] for your belief in me. Thank you to my family, friends and all South Africans who supported my journey - what a journey it has been," she wrote in a statement on social media. "I have no words to express how grateful I am to be Miss Earth SA 2022. The real work begins now," she added.
