Ana Gabriela Villanueva crowned the new Miss Universe Guatemala 2024

Ana Gabriela Villanueva Jolón, from Santa Cruz Naranjo, Santa Rosa, has been designated the new Miss Universe Guatemala 2024. The 22-year-old law and social sciences student has assumed the national title previously held by Andrea Radford who decided to prioritize her pregnancy. Ana was first runner-up to Andrea at the Miss Universe Guatemala 2024 pageant. She will now be the representative of her country for Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. Andrea passed on her crown and sash to the new Miss Universe Guatemala in a special ceremony on Sunday, August 25 in Guatemala City. Miss Universe Guatemala 2024 is Andrea Radford

Andrea Radford was crowned Miss Universe Guatemala 2024 during the national competition held on Sunday, July 7 at Centro Cultural César Brañas in the historic colonial city of Antigua. The 29-year-old TV host and model bested over 20 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds Michelle Cohn, last year's winner and the first-ever mother to represent Guatemala at the Miss Universe pageant. Ana Gabriela Villanueva Jolón was named first runner-up. At the same time, Zoochiel Dubón, Ximena Carrillo Mendizábal, Melissa Morales, and Debbie Nohemy Ruiz finished second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up, respectively. This year's competition marked the 53rd edition of the Miss Universe Guatemala pageant. Reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua graced the event as special guest. Helen Morales was crowned Miss International Guatemala 2024 during the Miss Guatemala 2024 final on Wednesday, May 1 at Teatro Dick Smith in Guatemala City. The 26-year-old representative of Izabal succeeds last year's titleholder  María Ranee Díaz . She will travel to Tokyo, Japan for Miss International 2024 in November. Reigning Miss International Andrea Rubio from Venezuela was among the special guests at the glittering national competition. Guatemala first and last won the Miss International pageant 40 years ago, in 1984 with Ilma Urrutia. The country's last placement was in 1993 when Diana Lucrecia Galván Flores made it to the Top 10. Miss World Guatemala 2024 is Jeymi Escobedo

Jeymi Escobedo was crowned Miss World Guatemala 2024 during the glittering Miss Guatemala 2024 final on Wednesday, May 1 at Teatro Dick Smith in Guatemala City. The 18-year-old, representing the department of Suchitepéquez, succeeds  Marcela Miranda and will now prepare to represent Guatemala at the 72nd Miss World. Also crowned during the event were the representatives of the country for Miss International 2024, Miss Grand International 2024, and Reina Hispanoamericana 2024. The title Miss International Guatemala 2024 went to Helen Morales while Cristina Gonzalo and Elizabeth Blanco were the Miss Grand Guatemala 2024 and Reina Hispanoamericana 2024, respectively. Marcela Miranda to represent Guatemala at the 71st Miss World

Marcela Miranda has been officially appointed as Miss World Guatemala 2023 and will represent her country in the upcoming 71st Miss World competition. The 20-year-old is an accountant by profession and currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in commerce and international relations. She speaks English and Spanish. Marcela is also a professional dancer in Latin, modern, and classical genres and is expected to showcase her talent during the 71st Miss World Talent competition. She was part of the National Rhythmic Gymnastics Team for 14 years and is currently a rhythmic gymnastics coach. For her Beauty with a Purpose project "Moving to Heal," she teaches rhythmic gymnastics to girls who have been victims of abuse and provides a safe space for them to feel liberated and motivated. Miss Universe Guatemala 2023 is Michelle Cohn — first mother to compete at Miss Universe 2023

Melanie Michelle Cohn Bech, representing Ciudad Capital, was crowned Miss Universe Guatemala 2023 on Sunday, August 6 at the Centro Cultural Miguel Ángel Asturias in Guatemala City. The 28-year-old mother of two, model, host, and entrepreneur will now prepare to represent Guatemala at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. She succeeds last year's winner Ivana Batchelor. Aside from winning the title among 16 equally beautiful competitors, the new Miss Universe Guatemala also bagged the Mejor Modelo Fotografíca and Top Model awards. Miss International Guatemala 2023 is María Reneé Díaz

María Reneé Díaz was officially announced on Tuesday, July 18 as Miss International Guatemala 2023. The 24-year-old marketing student currently working as a Spanish-to-English translator will represent Guatemala at Miss International 2023 in Japan this October. A fun fact about her is that she is of Filipino descent, through her paternal grandfather, who hails from San Fernando (Pampanga), Philippines, and her mother, of course, is a proud Guatemalan. From an early age, María developed a philanthropic sense, being passionate about helping children from low-income families and promoting their education and social training. Now with great pride and commitment, she takes on the responsibility of representing Guatemala with dignity, in her quest for the second Miss International crown for her country. Miss Supranational Guatemala 2023 is Naida Estubier

French-Guatemalan beauty Naida Estubier was officially announced as Miss Supranational Guatemala 2023 on Thursday, April 13 via social media. The 23-year-old professional model who hails from Zacapa was born to a Guatemalan mother and a French father. She has signed with modeling agencies in Paris and Los Angeles. "I am so happy and grateful to be able to represent my country this year at Miss Supranational," she posted on social media with pictures of her officially wearing the crown and sash. "I thank you with all my heart and I am very moved to see the support you have given me and it motivates me to give everything so that each one of you feels proud to be Guatemalan," she added. Naida succeeded María Fernanda Milián, last year's titleholder who placed in the Top 24 at Miss Supranational 2022. Reina Hispanoamericana 2022: Guatemala wins Best in National Costume

Guatemala's Camila Riveiro was awarded Mejor Traje Tipico (Best in National Costume) during the Reina Hispanoamericana 2022 national costume competition held on Sunday, March 19 in Porongo, Bolivia. The winning national costume was designed and created by the talented Guatemalan artist and costume designer César Alejandro Portillo. Rounding out the Top 7 costumes came from Bolivia (María Jesús Jimenez), Brazil (Guilhermina Montarroyos), Ecuador (Heather Ashley Valdez Yepez), Mexico (Diana Robles), Puerto Rico (Ediris Joan Rivera), and Venezuela (Adriana Pérez). Miss Grand Guatemala 2023 is Raschel Alexandra Paz

Raschel Alexandra Paz has been officially announced on Wednesday, February 22 as the newly appointed Miss Grand Guatemala 2023. The 22-year-old professional model who holds a degree in political studies and international relations succeeded last year's titleholder, Andrea Radford. She will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam this October. She speaks four languages namely Spanish, English, French, and German. Her passion includes catwalk, basketball, swimming, karate, jiu-jitsu, and horseback riding. For her social work, she is part of an established NGO in her country where she serves as human rights ambassador, providing support to young women and survivors of physical and psychological violence.
