Peru's Catalina Marsano was crowned Miss International Queen 2024 on Saturday, August 24 at the Tiffany's Show Theater in Pattaya, Thailand. The 32-year-old trans model beat more than 20 other competitors to win the competition. She succeeds last year's winner Solange Dekker from the Netherlands. Catalina made history as the first-ever Peruvian to win the prestigious Thailand-based international pageant for transgender women. Saruda Panyakham of Thailand was named first runner-up while Nguyen Tuong San of Vietnam finished as the second runner-up. The contestants from Colombia, Juliana Rivera Gutierrez, the Philippines, Sophia Nicole Arkanghel, and the USA, Kataluna Enriquez rounded out the Top 6 finalists.
