Maya Dmitri was crowned Miss International Sri Lanka 2024 in a special ceremony held on Sunday, May 5 at the Mövenpick Hotel in Colombo. The 20-year-old model and software engineering student will now prepare to represent her country at Miss International 2024 in  Tokyo, Japan this November. The 21-year-old professional dancer and student living in Paris was second runner-up at Miss Sri Lanka in France, a beauty pageant among the Sri Lankan community. She also bagged the Best Catwalk and Miss Congeniality award. As Miss International Sri Lanka, Umanda is advocating for pediatric cancer patients.
