Vietnam's first Miss International receives warm homecoming celebration

Vietnam's Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy has received a warm homecoming celebration after winning her country's first Miss International last week in Tokyo, Japan. Fans flocked to the international airport in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, November 18 to welcome the 22-year-old beauty from Danang. Thuy made history for Vietnam after beating 70 other contestants to win the 62nd Miss International on November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall. In a heartfelt post after her crowning, the beauty queen expressed her gratitude for the unwavering support she received throughout her journey to the international stage. Vietnam's Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy crowned Miss International 2024

Vietnam's Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy was crowned Miss International 2024 on Tuesday, November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Japan. The 22-year-old beauty from Da Nang became the first ever Vietnamese woman to become Miss International. She succeeds last year's winner Andrea Rubio from Venezuela. Camila Roca of Bolivia was named first runner-up while Alba Pérez of Spain, Sakra Guerrero of Venezuela, and Sophie Kirana of Indonesia finished as the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Alina Dementjeva of the Czech Republic, Samantha Poole of New Zealand, and Ewa Jakubiec of Poland completed the Top 8 finalists. The Top 20 were from  Australia, Selina McCloskey, Cape Verde, Akysanna Veiga, Cuba, Shelbi Byrnes Garcia, Dominican Republic, Miyuki Cruz, Honduras, April Tobie, Ireland, Hannah-Kathleen Hawkshaw, Japan, Mei Ueda, Mongolia, Bayaraa Suvd-erdene, Nigeria, Perpetual Ukadike, South Africa, Belindé Schreuder, South Sudan, Amylia Deng, and Taiwan, Oceana Lin-Kurie. Reigning Miss International Jasmin Selberg visits Vietnam

Germany's Jasmin Selberg touched down in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, May 22 for her first official visit to Vietnam since winning Miss International 2022 last December. Accompanied by Miss International executive Stephen Diaz, the Estonia-born beauty arrived wearing the Long Beach Pearl crown to a warm welcome from Vietnamese fans eagerly waiting for her at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. In a social media post, Jasmin shared a lovely message to fans. She wrote: "Cam on (thank you) Vietnam for welcoming me so beautifully. The hospitality of you really warms my heart." Included in her schedule for the trip were charitable activities and attending the official sashing and send-off ceremony of the newly proclaimed Miss International Vietnam 2023 Nguyen Phuong Nhi. Miss World Vietnam 2022 second runner-up Nguyen Phuong Nhi has been officially announced as Miss International Vietnam 2023. The 21-year-old beauty from Thanh Hoá succeeds Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh and will now prepare to represent Vietnam at Miss International 2023 this October in  Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Her official send-off and sashing ceremony will take place this Tuesday, March 23 at Sofitel Saigon Plaza in Ho Chi Minh City. Sireethorn Leearamwat graces Miss International Vietnam 2022 send-off ceremony

Reigning Miss International Sireethorn Leearamwat has officially arrived for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to attend the special send-off ceremony for Miss International Vietnam 2022. The Thai beauty was accompanied by Miss International Media Director Stephen Inventor Diaz during her official visit to the Southeast Asian country. Miss International Vietnam organizers, Sen Vang Entertainment, held an official press conference to sash Miss Vietnam 2020 runner-up and now Vietnam's representative to the upcoming 60th Miss International pageant, Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh. The special event was held at Rex Hotel Saigon on Monday, June 13. According to Miss International, the successful event was attended by hundreds of pre-registered media personnel, sponsors, and former Miss International Vietnam titleholders. The 60th Miss International (Miss International 2022) will take place on December 13 in Tokyo, Japan, after a 2-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Photos: Gerhard
